We are Ali and Chris and this year we bought our first VW campervan ‘Poppy the Pop Top’. We so enjoyed kitting her out and making the space homely and ‘ours’; cushions, stickers and bunting galore. We really struggled however, to find a carpet for the living space which did everything we wanted:
- Cover and protect the rails
- Easy to hoover or shake out
- Be warm and cosy
- To provide some colour and personalise the space
- A carpet that was not in the way when the bed is deployed
To cut a long story short, we decided to design our own 2 piece rug set that allows you to stack one on top of the other to fit perfectly in the remaining floor space. Before long we had requests to design and make similar solutions for other owners hence the birth of CampervanCarpets.com.
